The odds before the tournament
Adam Scott of Australia has really turned a corner this year and he and his partner Jason Day were 13/8. These odds were pretty low but considering both had good experience playing on the golf course it was no wonder.
The USA team was at 6/1 which was very good odds with Matt Kuchar and Kevin Streelman both going into the tournament in good form but it wasn’t to be.
The outside bet would have been with south Korea who were 40/1 and with a combination of experience with KJ Choi and the fresh talent of Sang-moon Bae they looked like a good outside bet but there was a reason they was the outsiders and they didn’t come close.
